Get a clearer exploration history for the decision ahead.

Have you acquired new ground, inherited a project or reached a decision about where to focus exploration? RadiXplore can investigate the historical evidence for your specific project or area and deliver a structured, source-connected account of what previous explorers did, what was learned and which questions remain unresolved.

When a project-specific investigation makes sense

New ground, incomplete history or an important next decision.

  • Evaluating a project

Understand previous exploration before committing to more work.

  • Fragmented exploration history

Decades of reports without a reliable, consolidated chronology.

  • Previously tested ground

Re-examine what an earlier exploration programme actually established.

  • Competing exploration priorities

Compare targets and unresolved questions before allocating budgets.

  • Inherited interpretations

Independently re-examine historical evidence and geological assumptions.

  • Deeper investigation needed

Go beyond self-directed platform searching with a scoped investigation.

Before your next exploration decision

Know what's been tested, what was found and what remains unresolved.

Stage 1: Historical Evidence Recovery

What actually happened here?

Reconstruct previous exploration programmes, activities, results and interpretations into an organised, source-linked evidence base.

What your Stage 1 scope may include

  • Evidence inventory

    Source reports and provenance

  • Exploration chronology

    Programmes across time and operators

  • Activity records

    Methods, targets and observations

  • Evidence tables

    Traceable findings and source references

  • Unresolved questions

Gaps and areas for further investigation

  • Review handover

An agreed report or evidence pack

Deliverables are agreed for each project and depend on available historical evidence.

How a project engagement works

  1. 1. Define the question and area

We start with the project, geography, available evidence and specific decision the customer faces. This establishes what can reasonably be answered, and what information may be missing.

  2. 2. Agree scope, outputs and evidence boundaries

We define the historical collections, technical work and deliverables included in the assessment, along with any rights or data constraints. Pricing and schedule are scoped to the problem, not a generic fixed-price website tier.

  3. 3. Reconstruct and review the evidence

RadiXplore uses the appropriate intelligence workflows to assemble and analyse the historical record. Geological interpretation and important claims are reviewed against available source evidence.

  4. 4. Deliver an evidence-backed starting point

The agreed outputs are handed over in a usable format, with source traceability and clear distinctions between documented fact, historical interpretation and RadiXplore inference.

  5. 5. Decide whether deeper investigation is justified

Some questions are resolved by the historical review. Others may require further figure/table recovery, mineral-system analysis, source-level forensic work or targeted data verification. Additional work is proposed and scoped separately.

How investigations can deepen

Our wider five-stage method provides options when the agreed question demands more analysis. Customers are not required to commission every stage.

StageCustomer questionTypical scope
1. Historical Evidence RecoveryWhat really happened here?Reports, activities, chronology and source-linked evidence
2. Visual & Tabular Evidence RecoveryWhat key data remains trapped in older records?Relevant maps, figures, tables, logs and technical data
3. Mineral Systems & Failure AnalysisWhat does the combined evidence suggest?Geological lenses, test adequacy, contradictions and unresolved hypotheses
4. Forensic Deep Dives & Opportunity RankingWhich ideas hold up when scrutinised?Evidence checks, opportunity dossiers and relative prioritisation
5. Targeted De-riskingWhat evidence or test would reduce the remaining uncertainty?Targeted recovery/verification of decision-critical hard data and technical next questions

Stages 2–5 are scoped extensions, not a promise of standard automated services or fixed outputs.

Frequently asked questions

No. We begin with your immediate question and scope the work accordingly. Stage 1 may be sufficient, or deeper work may be justified after reviewing the initial findings.

No. A bespoke engagement includes an agreed investigation and deliverables. Platform licences provide ongoing access to supported tools and datasets for your own team.

No. The work aims to provide a better evidence base and identify unresolved questions for expert evaluation. Geological and exploration decisions remain with your team.

Start with the project or area, the decision under consideration and any known data sources or restrictions. We can then identify suitable scope and necessary inputs.

What does your next exploration decision depend on?

Tell us the ground you are evaluating, what you need to decide and where the historical record is uncertain. We'll discuss whether a Stage 1 review or another scoped investigation makes sense.
